SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services into the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it truly is alarmed with regard to the high number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to lack SRD of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office focused on service the area every day. The services stage made for intervention encounters a superior influx of probable beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional resources to empower the servicing of all prospects and increase use of Social Assistance solutions,” SRD the agency said.
